Esther’s Quinceanera

Esther is fifteen, and her parents threw her a quinceanera that she’ll remember forever.  This girl has it all.  She’s beautiful, she’s sweet, she knows who she is, and she must be the kindest young woman at her school.  I’ll get into how I know that in a bit.

When we first got to Esther’s home, she had just finished getting ready.  I *may* have seen a little sneak peek when her mom posted a picture of her at the salon.  This girl’s hair is rocking.  How gorgeous is that color!?  But anyway, so as I was walking in, Esther walked around the corner.  And oh.em.gee.  The hair, with that jewelry, that dress, the tiara, and most importantly- that smile that lights up a room.  I could not wait to start taking pictures!!

This quinceanera was the best.  Esther and her super-hero mom DIYed the whole house.  It was gorgeous.  They made all of those pom-poms by hand.  They decorated the entire downstairs with them!

This ceremony was very sentimental.  Both of Esther’s parents spoke a bit about what a wonderful young woman she has become.  (P.S. Look at the pictures with her parents in them.  Can’t you just see the love and the pride in their eyes?)  Then, Esther’s father put on her first pair of high-heeled shoes.  She was so cute balancing in them!  After that, Esther and her father danced to a special song.

After the ceremony, the guests enjoyed a taco bar!  Does it get better than that?!!  Then dancing was so fun!  Esther’s friends have moves!  Shortly after the dancing started, her friends asked for the mic.  They all took turns toasting her.  Listening to the words they used to describe their friend, and the stories they told about her, it is so clear that Esther is a very special girl.

Esther, thank you, and thank you to your parents, for trusting me with the pictures from your day.  You truly looked like a princess and you truly deserve all the wonderful things that will come to you in your life.

Please leave a comment for Esther at the end of this post!

A true testament to this beautiful young lady came from her friends. Each one had a story about feeling alone and maybe different until Ester stood up and insisted they sit with her.  We all know that first day feeling. They called her the mom of the group because she always makes sure everyone is good and that they are happy.  She is an incredible person and I always tell Sarah that I want an Ester?❤️?ReplyCancel
