Hey! We’re Melanie and Brian and we’re glad you’re here! We’d like to make a friendly introduction and give you insight into what we do.

We are a husband and wife team, and we are so passionate about love and weddings. We’ve been married since 2005! Here’s us on our wedding day! Thanks to Red Shutter Photography!

Collectively, we have been professional photographers for over 25 years! Together, we have specialized in weddings since 2015. We have photographed weddings in New England, the Pacific Northwest and destinations across the globe!

Besides wedding photography, we love spending time with our two sons, our two cats and our dog. Our very favorite thing to do is to travel and explore! Our favorite vacations so far have been to Yosemite and an Alaskan cruise! On our bucket list is a European tour and an African safari. Andrew is our rock star! Sean is a decorated gymnast! Hi! I’m Melanie. When you first call or email, you’re going to get in touch with me. I’m very excited to work with you and to hear your love story! Our couples describe me as a fun and dedicated photographer. My friends say I can be very laid-back and completely enthusiastic too! I bring the calm and I bring the party! I’m the one you’ll be planning with prior to your engagement session and wedding and I’ll be the one to help you choose your albums, wall art and family gifts after your wedding. I love traveling. I also love Broadway and musicals more than anything in the world! My current favorites are RENT and Hamilton, but Ms. Saigon will always hold a special place in my heart, too.

You may meet Brian when you come to our showroom for a consult. He may come along to your engagement session if you choose to have us both. Otherwise, you’ll meet him on the day of your wedding. He’s going to show up and absolutely rock your wedding photography. Just like he may stay hidden before your wedding, you won’t even know he’s there on the day of your wedding. Brian is the king of candids. He may be the most quiet and stealth man you’ll ever meet! In his spare time, Brian enjoys making music. Did you know he has made and performed the soundtracks for dozens of video games?! He also really likes to play golf with his friends.

Together, we have wedding photography down to a science! I am level-headed and I manage your wedding party and family with grace. I watch the clock and the sun, and I keep things moving. Brian brings the stealth. We are frequently told that Brian was able to get shots when nobody saw him or knew he was photographing. Brian is the king of candid!

We have the best job in the world.  We love photography and we’re passionate about photographing weddings and love stories. This allows us to create those special images of the best times in your lives. We love photographing people’s most special moments, especially their wedding day. We love photographing engagement sessions and hearing couples’ love stories.
